IEP Fundraising Breakfast
By Fr. Silas Kemboi, SJ
Greetings from Molo, the land of possibilities.
I am writing to invite you to our IEP Fundraising Breakfast, scheduled for December 2, 2025, at Loyola, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The event aims to raise funds to support our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program (IEP). Beyond addressing the pressing challenge of unemployment, IEP is the mustard seed of the larger PHU dream.
Many of you have heard about PHU and perhaps wondered when it will finally take shape. I must admit that I once thought it was someone else’s dream—until I was missioned to be part of the team. From the inside, I can assure you that much has been happening behind the scenes.
Those missioned before us laid the essential groundwork—the “software” of the project. The current team is slowly working on the “hardware,” and one of these key components is the IEP.
Running IEP requires financial support, and I say this candidly: over the past year, our fundraising efforts have not borne much fruit. Very little money has come in, and we have been surviving on what was raised earlier.
I know that many Jesuits live under the vow of poverty and may not have much. However, charity begins at home. You can support us with whatever little you are able to give.
Another meaningful way to help is by speaking positively about the project and connecting us to friends, colleagues, or relatives who may wish to journey with us. We assure you—we will not disappoint them.
