Seminars

From the 5th to the 9th of January, all the novices had an opportunity to get equipped with the skills from two distinct seminars. The Primi had their seminar on Child Protection and Safeguarding which was facilitated by Fr. Silas, SJ. The seminar was meant to prepare them for issues related to the same topic especially in their experiment. Simultaneously, the Secundi had a seminar on sexuality which was facilitated by Fr. Charles Mnubi, SJ, the novice master. Both seminars were carried out in the learning facilities of the novitiate.

Visitation by Father Provincial

From the 17th to the 22nd of January, Father Kizito Kiyimba, SJ, the Provincial made his annual visitation to the novitiate community. During this period, he listened to the manifestation of conscience from all the novices and formators. He also had general meetings with all novices and the formators respectively. The visitation ended officially on the 21st with a Eucharistic celebration by Fr. Provincial.
