Walking Together in Prayer and Studies

By Laus Chimango, SJ

Greetings from Xavier Community-Mwanza. The weather here in Mwanza is normal; we have a series of cold mornings, sunny afternoons, and moderately warm nights. Even with these dynamics, we are used to the situation. Otherwise, we do enjoy the daily fine breezes from Lake Victoria, which is just nearby the Jesuit community.

The blessings that we continue to receive from God the Almighty are tremendous. As Scholastics studying at CUHAS-BUGANDO, we are grateful for the academic year 2024/2025, which has been the year of blessing and success to the three of us. We have witnessed the hand of God working upon us especially in our efforts to do our best in studies.  In mid-August we started our University Examinations and finish on 22 August 2025 which now marks the end of second year.  We ask the companions in and out of the province to continue praying for us, as we also pray for everyone.

Thanks, and welcome to Mwanza community.
