The Mission of Saving Souls Continues Each Day
By Sajilo Mark, SJ

Dear friends in the Lord it’s my hope and prayers that we are all doing well in our various missions and apostolates around the globe. In this part of the globe particularly Saint Francis Xaver Parish Nyakahoja Mwanza, we are doing well. It is a busy parish, a lot of events are taking place above all the masses and visiting schools for mass etc. In a special way this week on Monday I and the Parish Priest Fr. Edward Rwimo, SJ visited the Arch Bishop of Mwanza   His   grace +Reverend Renatus Nkwande as part of introducing me to work in his jurisdiction.  The arch Bishop warmly welcomed us, we had such a wonderful moment with him.

Otherwise a lot is going on here including the finishing up the Xavier youth hall in Igombe property is ongoing. We also have Xavier football team for the youth under the age of 17 for the Parish, these young men are doing very well any team that wants to have a match with us you are all most welcome.  Apart from that yesterday we had a deanery meeting of all the Catholic parishes within the city and it was such a wonderful moment to meet different priests both diocesan and religious. The meeting took place at Mwananchi Parish which is under the Assumptionists Fathers. The meeting went on well which ended with having meals together.

Greetings from Companions.
