At the heart of the development are state-of-the-art sports facilities, seamlessly integrated into the layout. With a sharp focus on design and space utilization, the development promises to offer a well-rounded environment for living, working, and playing, all in one place. As the construction progresses, the vision of this space continues to evolve, paving the way for a future that blends innovation with functionality.

General Secretary of the Ethiopia Episcopal Conference, Fr. Ketema’s Heartfelt Visit to the Construction Site

The General Secretary of the Catholic Episcopal Conference of Ethiopia, Fr. Keteme, visited the construction site with great enthusiasm and a sense of fulfillment. For years, he had dreamed of witnessing the project come to life, and that moment had finally arrived. He was accompanied by a team from the Development Office in the Vicariate of Jimma Bonga, including Fr. Kifle, as well as another team from the Catholic Episcopal Secretariat. As he stood on the site, his heart swelled with emotion, overwhelmed by the realization of a vision he had long held. Seeing the work progressing, he felt a deep sense of gratitude and hope, knowing this development would serve as a beacon of faith, community, and progress for future generations in Ethiopia.

Site Visit by Ethiopian Government Officials

Ethiopian government officials recently visited the construction site of a new school, expressing admiration for the significant progress made. Led by Mr. Endashaw, Kaffa Zone Chief Administrator, and Mr. Demelash, Assistant to the Kaffa Zone Administrator and the head of Revenue Tax Authority in the region, the officials were impressed by the project’s scale. Mr. Endashaw highlighted the school’s transformative potential for local education, while Mr. Demelash noted its positive economic and social impact, creating job opportunities for the community. This visit reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting such initiatives, ensuring lasting benefits for the Southwest Region and future generations of Ethiopia

Progress of the construction of the school

The construction of the two buildings is progressing quickly, with stone masonry nearly complete and footings finished. The remaining work includes compaction, grade beams, and columns, which are expected to begin next week.

The construction of 12 new classrooms will bring the total number of classrooms in the school to 16.
