Installation of the 315 KVA Transformer

By Linus Tigiti, SJ

In every project, a reliable power source is essential to drive efficiency and productivity. For the school in Bonga, securing a dedicated transformer was not just a necessity—it was a game-changer. Now, with the installation of a 315 KVA transformer for the school and a 50 KVA transformer for the Jesuit Community, a new era of independent and uninterrupted power begins.

Each transformer is equipped with a separate three-phase meter, ensuring seamless operation for both the school and the surrounding community. What makes this even more remarkable is the flexibility—should there be a surge in demand on one side, the adjacent transformer can provide backup support, ensuring a stable power supply. Owned and managed by the Society of Jesus, these transformers symbolize a future of self-sufficiency, growth, and boundless potential. With this powerful infrastructure in place, the possibilities are electrifying!
