Volunteering at Farm Street Church, London
By Magoba Ronald, SJ

While there is a growing concern regarding the declining numbers of churchgoers in the Global North and the UK, we were consoled by the authentic witness among Catholics, at Farm Street, Jesuit Parish, where volunteers spearhead the campaign to walk and serve the homeless. For instance, two meals are guaranteed to over 100 people, twice a week. Likewise, warm clothes are distributed to the homeless people on the streets during cold nights. Schs. Edward Tony and yours sincerely have been privileged to be part of this noble mission until 13 July, when we officially bid farewell.
