Pastoral Activities in Progress

Dear friends in the Lord, it is my hope and prayer that we are all doing well in our respective missions and apostolic communities where we find ourselves around the globe. For us here in and Mwanza a lot is taking place at the Parish level even in the entire Arch Diocese of Mwanza at large. First and fore most, last Sunday there was a seminar for the youth of St. Francis Xavier Parish Nyakahoja which took place at our youth center hall at Igombe beach at the shores of Lake Victoria. The seminar was of great success since it brought awareness among the youth on issues of relationships. On the same note last Sunday Fr. Francis Kyalo SJ, visited the Parish and he had a chance to celebrate all the three masses here at Nyakahoja Parish and the Parishioners were so happy to see him back this time not as a deacon but a young and vibrant priest. He was warmly welcomed and in the evening the parishioners prepared a get together with father Francis it was such a simple and colorful event. Last week also I wrote about Xavier Football Club that we have here at the Parish, We have young people who doing very well in soccer in our parish as I said last week. So some of the photos will of the football team I have included in this edition since last week they were missing.
