Men at Work in Christ’s Mission
By Sajilo Julius Mark, SJ

Dear friends in the Lord; it my hope and prayer that we are all doing well in our respective missions and apostolates.  For us here in Mwanza we are doing well, the Parish work is going on well. A week ago Fr. Provincial visited the community and he was warmly welcomed by the companions and we had some good moments with him though he had a busy schedule. Apparently the community has few members because the scholastics who are studying at Bugando have gone for their annual retreat and holidays as well. Recently also we had visitors who are the aunts of Br. James Edema, SJ who came for holidays in Tanzania. We had some good time with them and they were very happy to visit our community accompanied my Br. James Edema, SJ. They left on Tuesday night heading to Uganda by a boat/ship via Bukoba. We had also awards of Primary seven certificates for the pupils who did Catechism classes in different schools that are under Nyakahoja Parish. The certificates were awarded by the Parish Priest Fr. Edward Rwimo, SJ. Otherwise everything is going well here in the Parish and we pray that God may continue to give us the graces as we work in his vineyard.

Some of the parish activities we do is celebrating mass in different schools and here is Fr. Leo amani, SJ having mass at Kileleni primary school.
