January 13! Official launch of RK 2025 programs

It began as a teaser for the entire week but finally was unveiled on Monday 13th January, 2025 – the launch of Radio Kwizera 2025 programmes. The day was punctuated with OB (Outside Broadcast) of three of the radio’s influential programs, that’s, Asubuhi Njema (morning program aired within RK compound), Mchakato (Midmorning show aired at Nakatunga grounds) and Double Mix (afternoon entertainment program aired from Ngara bus station). These broadcasts were attended by a handsome of listeners. The evening and newsdesk did their broadcasting from the studio that was decorated accordingly.
The event was preceded by a review of the broadcasting schedule to ensure that our programs are more oriented towards updating, alerting and inspiring the audience to discern well in order to make smart decisions hence this year’s slogan “Amua Ki-smart”. Four days down the line, the feedback from the listeners is positive lauding the RK team for reshaping the programs to fit their socioeconomic needs. We are hopeful that these slight but vital changes in the media industry boosts the radio’s role in the community.
