Sophia Festival 2024: A Vivid Celebration of Talent and Individuality

This November 1-4, we witnessed vibrant 78th cultural celebrations at Sophia University. The 78th Sophia Festival was a colourful and unforgettable experience with its theme, “VIVID.” This year’s theme seemed to celebrate and capture the unique individuality of all participant, it Indeed left a lasting impact on all who attended. The festival, organized by Sophia University’s Sofia Festival Executive Committee, featured a variety of events showcasing student talent and creativity, making it a lively celebration for all.
Among the main highlights of the festivals included “Sophia n’s Got Talent,” an audition and stage show that continues to shine a spotlight on future stars, with students performing in genres from singing and dancing to juggling and live band performances.
Sophia Got talents has produced notable musical talents that went on to do great things in Japan and beyond. This year festivals were preluded by Moon drop group that set the tone with a dynamic pre-party performance, followed by the club live show at the opening of the festival eve. The opening ceremony saw the cheerleading club EAGLE kick off the festivities, hyping the crowd for the exciting cultural experiences.
The festivals were Indeed a success, thanks to the Sofia Festival Executive Committee, and its committees ranging from Public Relations, Decoration, General Affairs, Finance, to Stage. The 2024 Sophia Festivals left an indeed cherished memory for all attendees, marking a vivid and yet another exciting chapter in the university’s cultural life.
