A Week of Celebration and Reflection at Saint Joseph Development Programmes(SJDP)
By Eugene Nyakundi

This week, SJDP has been alive with activities, each event marking a milestone, celebrating growth, and bringing the community together.

In one of the week’s joyful highlights, Pre-Primary 2 students from Upendo Unit marked their transition with a heartwarming graduation ceremony. Family, teachers, and friends gathered in celebration, sharing in performances, awards, and a festive end-of-term gathering, strengthening bonds within the community.

A sacred moment followed at Saint Joseph Technical Secondary School, where a closing holy mass brought together students and staff to honor the term’s achievements. With messages of gratitude and a focus on spiritual growth, the mass underscored the school’s dedication to blending academics with personal values.

Later, Form Four students were celebrated in a special farewell, honoring their journey and preparation for exams ahead. Speeches, music, and heartfelt messages reminded them of the unwavering support from friends and teachers alike, highlighting the strong sense of belonging within the school.

The week concluded with a Youth Forum St Joseph Training Center, which inspired our students in vocational department to dive into discussions on leadership and career growth. This collaborative space empowered students to share ideas and insights, leaving them with renewed motivation and a sense of purpose.

This eventful week at SJDP beautifully captured the spirit of unity, learning, and support that drives the school community forward.
