Talents Wins Games but Teamwork and Intelligence Wins Championships
By Eugine Nyakundi

Opinion is the medium between knowledge and ignorance. If a man neglects education, he walks lame to the end of his life. All men are by nature equal, made all of the same earth by and life to everything.” – Plato. Last week was graced with various activities, particularly when our technical secondary school students engaged in the performing arts. They used movement, gesture, and intonation to bring fictional characters from their literature set books to life on stage. This activity was designed to reinforce their literature competencies and help them relate better to the characters they read about in their literature book. Last week was punctuated with sporting activities in which our students participated in various games. A highlight was when our staff joined in the sports and organized a football match that not only mesmerized the students with cheers and jubilation but also provided a breather for the staff with other essential activities more especially those in line with the normal operation of our institution. Michael Jordan once said Talent wins’ games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”
