Greetings from St. Joseph’s University!
All is well and we thank God for the gifts and blessings he has bestowed upon us. Here at SJU, it has and continues to be a hive of activities in the academics, co-curricular and extracurricular departments. Regular classes are running on smoothly as preparations are underway for the Mid Semester Examination come early September.
Early this week, the University hosted its annual Elixir (Open Day) which brought the 11th and 12th standard students and the Pre- University students who aspire to join the University. The day was a bustle of activities as it brought people to discover the programs offered at the university and Career guidance. It was also opportune time for people to visit the exemplary creative and innovative exhibits from the various schools including the School of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences Information Technology, Social Sciences and many more.
The Society not being left behind, the open day was an opportunity for the different Jesuits, priests and scholastics teaching and studying in the university to promote and make the Society of Jesus known, her values, ideals and her engagements in the diverse and various apostolates and missions in the world being that the institution is also run by the Jesuits. It was also an opportunity for some of the Scholastics to promote vocations into the Society of Jesus.
The students body is also anticipating for the upcoming Fresher’s Day, 2024.
