Education as a Race: Refueling for the Second Half

Let me describe the Education as a race. In the games and sports that we love whether it’s basketball, football, cricket, or boxing, there are always periods for the breaks, timeouts, and warm-ups. You cannot appreciate the power of a resting period if you are not in the middle of the game. Education also requires that same rhythm. A period of resting a bit, a period of warm-up. It is not a stop; it is a moment to rebuild new momentum and gather new energy.
When our school closed on September 4th and students departed on Saturday morning, it was not the end of learning. It was simply a shift in setting. Here at St. Peter Claver High School, we believe that, Education does not stop at the school gates; it is a lifelong process, and the lessons that will be learnt outside the classroom are just as valuable as those taught within the classrooms.
We extend our sincere gratitude to St. Peter Claver High School for providing the environment and facilities our students need to excel. We are deeply thankful to our teachers, who labor tirelessly to guide and inspire, and to our students, whose dedication and choice to be here give our school community its strength and purpose. Without their dedication and commitment, St. Peter Claver would not be the institution as it is today.
As we enjoy this pause, we look forward to welcoming everyone back on 14th September 2026. When the second half begins, we will return refreshed, ready to give even more than before.
