Greetings and Happy New Month of Nature from Gonzaga Gonza Jesuit Novitiate fraternity.

Meet-A-Jesuit Session

The novices were blessed to meet an acme of service, Fr. Evarist Shigi, SJ, the province treasurer, whose mellifluous and inspiring journey left great impression on the novices. In his search for meaning, he found himself in ramifications but there was always an impetus that kept his purpose defined. This appeared to touch the novices who had to keep the pendulum of life swinging.

Adumbratively, ‘Be yourself,’ was one of the painstaking piece of advice that he left to the novices as they continued to admire his jubilant personality and tranquility.

His final words were the assurance of novitiate as the best stage of Jesuit formation which left them motivated.

We are grateful for his time with us and wish him all the best as he assiduously performs his primary mission.

Primi – Secundi Match

On Wednesday, 9th September,2026, the rambunctious secundis were left out of options and forced to return back to their cocoons after a serious match officiated by Scholastic Gaudence Kavishe, SJ. The primis hammered secundis three goals whereas the secundis were left licking glucose to hide the nil stamped on their faces. The match took place in Nicolas Bobadilla Novitiate pitch.

Following last year’s defeat from their sophomores, it turns out that in their two years stay in the novitiate, they’ve suffered defeat back-to-back.

We thank the referee, Sch. Kavishe for his adroitness in the game. We also channel our gratitude to the entire formation team and sports department for the success of the day.
