Grant Writing & Fundraising Workshop in Rome

Fr. Allan Ggita, SJ is currently in Rome, Italy attending a Grant Writing and Fundraising Workshop organised by the Salvatorian Office for International Aid – SOFIA Global [the Salvatorians’ central office for development that coordinates and manages projects] in partnership with the Australian Marist Solidarity and JRS International.

In-between the Workshop, Allan and Tim paid a courtesy call at the Magis offices that are housed at the EUM Provincial House in Rome. Fondazione Magis forms part of the Xavier Network members that support the AOR works in South Sudan.

The networking aspect of the gathering is key, where participants share experiences in their development work, hear from key international mission donor partners and even tap knowledge from people who have been in a similar field for decades.
