LCMC Collaborates with Porticus to amplify the success stories of Religious Formation Program in Uganda
By Ms. Teresia Muia
Loyola Centre for Media and Communications (LCMC), a prominent Catholic media and communications organization affiliated with the Jesuits, has joined forces with Porticus, a renowned funding body, as the latter seeks to leverage LCMC’S expertise and experience in communications and media consultancy to disseminate the outcomes of a religious formation program in Uganda.
In the efforts to actualize this noble task, the LCMC team made six days visit to different educational institutions where the formation had taken place spearheaded by the Associations of Religious in Uganda (ARU). The trip saw the team hold interactive sessions with the beneficiaries of this formation program.
Through in-depth interviews conducted with the alumni members comprising key religious figures, religious sisters and brothers, the team was able to evaluate the profound impact of the program, opening a path towards amplifying the success stories emerging from the formation. This engagement serves to assess the program’s effectiveness and lays the groundwork for showcasing its accomplishments.
The partnership between LCMC and Porticus not only underscores LCMC’s commitment to meaningful storytelling but also reinforces its position as a leading communication consultancy. In a few weeks’ time, the team will embark on a similar engagement with the Conference of Major Superiors in Zimbabwe (CMRS).
