NEWS EDITION
YCS Rally
By John Gathoni

It has been a busy week here at Saint Joseph Development Programmes. On Saturday 23rd March, St. Joseph Secondary School YCS group had an opportunity to join other Young Catholic Student in an archdiocesan rally event which was held at St. Francis Girls Mang’u. This was the first time St. Joseph Technical Secondary School participated in such an event. Without any doubt, it was a great day of adventure, exposure, spiritually and morally nourishing.

Upendo Unit Outing and Birthday Celebrations

On the same day, Saturday 23rd March, Upendo Unit School organized a fun day activity for the children. I can assure you, there was no time for any dull moment. The greatest feeling of joy arises from our ability to make another person smile. From the smiles of these young ones, we are a testimony of how real that feeling of joy is in making one smile.

As if that was not enough, 27th March was another occasion to celebrate the lives of Upendo Unit children. As you may expect, the birthday of one child is a celebration of all the children around. Even though it was a combined birthday celebration for all the children born between January and April, it was a celebration for all.  Thanks to the well-wishers who made this event a success.

Examination Week

Being the last week before the Easter Break, the students both in primary and secondary school were busy writing their exams. The level of seriousness was at another level. We only expect better and improved results.
