Magnificent milestone: Commemorating the 23rd Form Six Graduation at Loyola High School

We are delighted to share with you the exciting news that has stirred much joy within our community. On the 13th of April 2024, Loyola High School marked a momentous occasion with its 23rd Form Six graduation ceremony, where 96 graduands achieved a significant milestone in their academic pursuits. The event commenced with a poignant Eucharistic celebration led by the distinguished Form 6 graduands themselves, whose melodious voices guided the congregation in a solemn prayer. Reverend Udahemuka, SJ, the presiding minister, delivered a profound acknowledgement of the graduands’ diligent efforts at LHS, urging them to espouse the ethical precepts they had imbibed and become exemplars of compassion and rectitude in their undertakings.
The outgoing Form 6 tendered a heartfelt address to the incoming cohort, expressing profound gratitude for the support they had received and imparting sagacious counsel and motivation. They implored their successors to labor assiduously and avail themselves of the opportunities disponible at Loyola, symbolically passing on the torch, represented by a flag, signifying the continuation of their esteemed legacy. The graduation ceremony culminated in a zenith of academic prowess and cherished memories, with the persistent rain during the proceedings being construed as a celestial benediction. It was, indeed, an exultant celebration, spotlighting the laurels attained and the indomitable spirit exhibited by the graduands during their time at LHS.
Enriching the ceremony were edifying presentations delivered by the sundry departments’ heads and administrators, extolling the students’ mettle and endurance. Headmaster Fr. Martin Waweru, SJ, conveyed felicitations to the graduates, extolling the transformative impact they had effectuated within the school’s precincts. Certificates lauding exceptional academic achievements and active participation in other curricular pursuits were conferred upon the meritorious graduands. Enthralled attendees were regaled with captivating contemporary dance performances, showcasing the kaleidoscope of talents intrinsic to the esteemed tapestry of LHS.
