A Cybersecurity Workshop by pHU

In the lively morning of 7th March 2024, there was an air of excitement at Hekima Institute of Peace Studies and International Relations (HIPSIR), as Óbuda University teamed up with ACPM IT Consulting Ltd and the proposed Hekima University (pHU) to launch a groundbreaking cybersecurity workshop. With a combination of in-person and virtual attendance, 25 enthusiastic individuals set out on a journey to strengthen their online security.

Leading the charge was Marto Milkos, the visionary founder of ACPM, who shared invaluable insights on data security, protection against cyber threats, and the importance of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT). His extensive expertise, combining European Union and Kenyan perspectives, brought enlightenment to the workshop, transcending professional boundaries.

This Professional Certificate course, is accessible to individuals from all backgrounds, and it will offer more than just knowledge. For individuals enrolled, it will provide them with empowerment in the face of digital threats. The program’s unique blend is going to ensure harmonious global-local approach. Successful completion would result in an EU-recognized certificate, validating skills and elevating professional status.

The workshop was not only an educational experience but also laid the foundation for future collaborations. In a world where technology reigns supreme, safeguarding digital assets and information has become paramount. This collaborative workshop in Kenya’s technological hub is aimed at equipping individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge to protect against cyberattacks, thereby fortifying the cybersecurity landscape on a global scale.
