Power Breakfast Fundraising Meetings
By Ms. Maureen Obare
The upcoming 25th April 2024 Power Breakfast fundraising meetings mark a pivotal moment in the buildup to the main fundraising event in June 2024. This series of meetings follows a successful trajectory of previous gatherings, laying the groundwork for impactful contributions.
In a notable achievement, the Friends of the proposed Hekima University (PHU) gathered support during the previous session, securing bags of cement from a generous stakeholder, alongside financial pledges from other benevolent attendees. The prestigious Royal Nairobi Golf Club served as the venue for the preceding Power Breakfast meeting, where Professor Noah Midamba captivated the audience as the guest speaker. Professor Midamba, former Vice Chancellor of Kenya College Accountancy University (KCAU), brought a wealth of experience in transformative leadership within higher education during his tenure. Under his stewardship, KCAU witnessed a substantial surge in student enrollment across its multiple campuses, solidifying its reputation as a beacon of academic excellence.
As the Power Breakfast meetings continue to gather momentum, anticipation mounts for the main fundraising event scheduled for the 21st June 2024. With each session, the Friends of the Proposed Hekima University community’s commitment to supporting PHU’s endeavors grows stronger, reflecting a collective determination to effect positive change. The collaborative efforts of all involved underscore a shared commitment to advancing the mission and vision of PHU.
As anticipation mounts, stakeholders eagerly anticipate the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution towards realizing the collective goals set forth. With the spirit of generosity and collaboration guiding their endeavours, the stage is set for a transformative event that promises to leave a lasting impact on the community and beyond.
