By Edward Musungu

Students at the St. Joseph Technical School have embarked on a two-week National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Exam as from Monday 4th December 2023. This examination marks the culmination of rigorous training in various technical courses, including Hairdressing and Beauty, Electrical and Solar Installation, and Fashion and Design.

Since its inception, the vocational training programs, each spanning for a period of eight months, have not only empowered youths with technical expertise, but also instilled valuable life skills essential for sustainability in chosen fields.

In the Kangemi community, St. Joseph Technical Secondary School has always stood as a beacon of practical education that has shaped generations of skilled professionals who contribute significantly in various industries.

Transforming Lives: Bringing Smiles to Underprivileged Families

Throughout the year, we have dedicated ourselves to bringing joy and support to underprivileged families in Kangemi. In our final month, we provided them with essential food supplies and financial aid for rent. Since January, this crucial assistance has made a significant difference in the living conditions of those who have received it.

One grateful beneficiary expressed their heartfelt appreciation, saying, “During these challenging economic times, this program has been an absolute lifeline for my family.”
